Is anyone other than me goin to anime expo

I've went the past two years and had a great time, though I had to pay for the hotel rooms for me and my friends to room together. Mostly went for the exhibition hall and the AMV contest they hold. Plan to go again this year but no rooming plans yet, though I might plan to just drive back and forth this year.

Ive been going since 2001 so 9 yrs now. I usually just drive back and forth when its in LA, and grab a hotel if its at Anaheim or Long Beach.

2010 badge already reserved, dunno about a Hotel this year. This year's guest list is rather underwhelming at the moment but we still have 3 months to go so who knows what'll happen.

No costume for me. ...I'm the odd one out haha. I went last year and it was a lot of fun. I saw a guy cosplaying sesshomaru. That was cool.
I mostly watched showings of different anime, got pizza, ran into a few friends, went to a Robot Chicken thing and saw Seth Green and... went to a quiz thing that I knew half of the answers to. Oh and an anime idol thing. that was... interesting. I loved the girl that voiced english dub voice of Tohru from Fruits Basket. She was right on the mark.
The hall had so many awesome things. I bought a Yoshi figure and a Ryo-ohki plush. Good times. My only issue was having to take the bus there and back. Anyway I'm going again this year for sure.
